The Co-Write
You already have the words, a poem, or most of an idea, but aren’t AI savvy. I’ll work it into a song you’d actually listen to and give it back to you. Your work, my fairy dust.
Written by a musician. Named after the most superior childhood sandwich of all time. Produced across a dozen genres with AI [because hiring a different band for each song would cost more than a house]. Take a bite. Welcome to Fluffanuttah.
One increasingly unhinged musical universe, organized by genre. Every song is part of the experiment, and the ones people love most might just become their own bands.
The lyrics are written by me, not AI. The melodies, ideas, characters, jokes, and ridiculous little worlds are mine, too. AI is the tool that lets me turn them into actual songs — something that would be financially impossible for me to do on my own. There's a lot more creative work behind these tracks than just a prompt.
Yes. Absolutely. But I think there's a pretty big difference between using AI to make music and having AI make your music for you.
I write every lyric on this site. I write the melodies and come up with the concepts, characters, jokes, stories, and genres. Sometimes I'll literally record myself singing the melody I hear in my head and use that recording as the starting point. Then I'll experiment with transforming the performance into the voice, genre, and production I'm imagining.
And the production is anything but plug-and-play. I spend a ridiculous amount of time listening, tweaking, regenerating, exporting, comparing versions, and trying again. Sometimes I'll make dozens of exports before I'm happy with one. Sometimes I'll take the result into a DAW and edit it myself. There is a lot of creative energy behind these songs. The reason I use AI is pretty simple: I'm one person, and I'm not rich.
If I wanted to make these songs traditionally, I'd need different musicians, different vocalists, different producers, different studios, and different budgets for basically every genre I want to explore. Making a reggae song, a hip hop song, a jazz song, and a rock song would mean assembling four completely different production teams. I couldn't afford that. For most of my life, that meant I simply didn't make the music. AI removed that barrier.
I understand why musicians feel threatened by AI. I really do. But I also think the conversation gets flattened into “AI bad” when there are legitimate, creative uses that have nothing to do with replacing an artist. For me, AI isn't replacing the part of music I'm good at. It's giving that part of me somewhere to go. These are songs I've wanted to make for years. Now I finally can.

I spend a few hours to a few weeks writing lyrics, rhymes and ridiculous concepts. Sometimes I have a perfect melody, sometimes I don't. I hum or sing whatever I have into my phone to capture the idea when it comes.
I spend (many, many) hours crafting prompts to get a sound that's close to what's in my head. Sometimes that means 10 versions, sometimes more like 400. If the genre doesn't work, I try a different one.
If I don't like the line, tone, pronunciation or sound, I nitpick sections of the song and re-run it, re-sing it, or download stems and edit them in a DAW until it's as close to perfect as possible.
